“Americatown”, new HBO reality-fiction

If yesterday we asked you to “look and listen”, today we ask you to watch: “Americatown”. This is not some abstract Orwell preview, this is a dramatic scenery for a near future (25-50 years) - when the American system will have collapsed and when Americans will be immigrants in a big foreign city. That is what is going to be about “Americatown”, the new HBO fiction, co-written by 5 top producers (Fontana, Levinson, Winters and the gold couple Marshall/Kennedy).
When people won’t be able to drive cars because of oil price, when people won’t be able to live in their houses and raise children because of incoming natural disasters, then Americans will migrate somewhere else and settle down in “Americatown”, right next to Little Italy or China Town, selling old ideas as “drive-ins” and saying “TGIF” (Thank God It’s Friday). Let’s keep in mind that it is a fiction movie produced by HBO. Nevertheless, Winters claims it is not an impossible near future.
