Don’t go away dear mouse

How not to appreciate mice; they are fast, practical and absolutely handy. They know about precision and loyalty. They will never perform a single movement without your approbation. That’s why, when I hear experts predicting their extinction within five years, I wonder how are we going to make it through life without them.

They are nearly 40 years old, but researchers say the days of computer mice are numbered.  Why? Because apparently is time to replace them with new technology, some if it inspired by the world of gaming.
But then, what can replace our little helper, you may ask. With the last cell phone boom, you are probably familiarized with touch screens, and perhaps you also know about  graphics tablets. But how about facial recognition devices? Hard to imagine that your computer can actually ‘see’ your orders, right? Well, that’s nothing; by the end of the year, be prepared to find in the market something ‘smarter’ than that: how about a headset that while you wear it,  you can actually control  and give orders to your computer, by simply thinking.
Call me an old fashioned closed-minded person, but I am sticking to my mouse.
Is just that I prefer to keep my thoughts to myself…
