Good guys get rich

While every single financial graph we’ve seen lately makes us want to hide under a blanket until 2012, this one is worth a smile. The manufacture of bicycles seems to be a recession proof business, because more people are buying bicycles than ever before. In fact, Giant Manufacturing, the world’s largest bicycle maker just sold a record 460,000 bikes last month.

Tonight, when a gas-guzzler corners me on my ride back home, I will think about this, and smile smugly before I give him the finger.
