Do you like to tell or to listen to stories? Then you can’t miss Listen! - International Day for Sharing Life Stories tomorrow, on May 16th 2008, all around the world.

People will gather in community halls, classrooms, public parks, theaters, auditoriums, as well as websites, email exchanges and virtual environments to hear each other’s stories.

The Museum of the Person International Network and the Center for Digital Storytelling (a non-profit training, project development, and research organization) are coordinating this international celebration of life stories: their goal is to gain broad recognition of 16 May as an annual day for sharing, listening to, and gathering the stories of people’s lives.

Events will spread across Australia, Belgium, Brasil, Canada, India, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Palestine, Portugal, Poland, Second Life , South Africa, UK and USA.
Check on the official site if there’s something to listen to near your city. Or just take a look at this Google map.
