Music for Obama: Yes, he can

They say he should be releasing an economic plan, rather than thinking about music. They could maybe know how to behave before election, but Barack Obama knows for sure how to involve the audience. “Yes We Can: Voices of a Grassroots Movement” is the 18-tracks CD just released by Hidden Beach Recordings (on sale at www.BarackObama.com) for supporting the Democratic presidential nominee.
We listened to 35 secs of the first 10 songs and “Yes we can” sounds as a well-matched compilation, basicly soul-kind-of-emo-dancey music. It features some R&B mixed with a latin flair to involve black kids, Lionel Richie to get the mommies & grannies, and Stevie Wonder giving some of the best soul ever written.
It is definitely a politically correct album (how couldn’t it be?), which can effectively help raising spirits of self-confidency and puts all of us in Barack’s shoes: being on a stage with a crowded audience and dealing with the biggest opportunity life gave you. Good luck.
