The Guanaco Mystery

With a short genetic pool and a striving population of less than 400, the guanaco still survives in the Staats Island after close annihilation in 1959. After a conscious historical recapitulation of the Patagonia Grey Fox’s (Dusicyon griseus) life, it is to be known that John Hamilton, Scottish visionary immigrant, and his acting agent, Jimmy Miller, are responsible of the existence of Guanacos in Sedge Island. However, the population of 400 guanacos in Staats Island is a mystery because of the bureaucratic authorization and official records declare that Guanacos should not exist in Staats Island: their origin is still unknown. Even though the introduction of guanacos to Staats Island is unclassified, their very presence represents the valuable work of the John Hamilton in the Falklands Island. Now this population of surviving and mysterious guanacos could represent an economic viable future for other Islands; their wool is valuable and this group of mysterious guanacos shows that the Dusicyon griseus can survive the harsh conditions of Staats Island.
