Medicine

Medicine probably expresses cultural differences more than any other field. The art of maintaining good health deeply involves all the knowledge and philosophy of a people. Religion, the role of doctors (of shamans) in society, the relationship with nature, the concept of birth and death, the body and soul, science and knowledge. All of this comes crashing into our daily lives when we need help. For those who live on the edge of two so different worlds the question is more pertinent: on a Mapuche portal there is a questionnaire asking do you prefer Mapuche medicine?
