Relational goods (and bads)
Can money buy happiness? It’s difficult to answer this question without being banal or moralistic. However, it is true that if a society multiplies its desires to infinity, it becomes forever unfulfilled. Yet, there are some goods that increase in value the more you use them. A capital that grows the more you spend it. These are relational goods, which are created from interpersonal relationships, from participation. This is why we have to invest in other people.
