Raymond Federman
Raymond Federman was born in France in 1928. He emigrated to the United States in 1947.
He has taught at the University of California at Santa Barbara and SUNY Buffalo, where he was appointed to the Melodia E. Jones Chair of Literature.
Federman has published collections of poems, essays, translation, and fiction, including Loose Shoes, Rachel's Fur, and Smiles on Washington Square, which won the American Book Award.
