For one side, there are many stories about big, powerful bands suing fans in the name of illegal downloading. For the other, there are many complaints about how expensive the music industry is, and while musicians defend their copyrights, fans safeguard their pockets.
But for American musician, actor and rapper Kid Rock, apparently there is not big fuzz about downloading his music for free.
“I am fucking rich, so how can I bitch about someone downloading a song or two” he said. In fact, he states that people should “level the playing field” by stealing anything they need from wealthy corporations.

This video was posted as a “special announcement” urging fans to, as eccentric as it sounds, “steal everything”.
But what is this? A joke, a realistic statement, a marketing strategy?
Understanding towards the fans’ economy, or cynicism with a touch of sarcasm?
Who knows, but with a T-shirt that reads God, the controversial character assures that  “It’s OK to illegally download music, and is OK to steal everything else you need too”…
