The world is not coming to an end

I was convinced the world was about to end. You know: there is the Maya Calendar thing and the whole stock markets situation and all the destruction we’ve been causing on this Earth. Then, I came across this piece, published in 1929 by The Economist. It’s weird that this wasn’t written yesterday. Made me conclude that, if we survived it back then, we’ll also survive it this time.
